Assistant Accountant – 3 month FTC

Principle Responsibilities:

Assist with month end for three foreign divisions including posting month end journals for fixed assets, prepayments and accruals

Conduct a detailed review of cash book and bank reconciliation ensuring all cash receipts and payments have been posted accurately and correctly

Examine financial entries and accounting records

Reconcile TB control accounts for AP, AR, stock, GRN, fixed assets and bank and resolve any discrepancies

Agree and assist internally with intercompany reconciliations for the foreign entities

Review Trade payables, Trade receivables, stock, fixed assets, advances to employees

Conduct detailed analysis of stock movements and adjustments to ensure costs are correctly calculated and review MPV movements and stock adjustments. Report and promptly resolve any discrepancies

Submissions of final trial balances of foreign divisions for consolidation

Analyze accounting system EPICOR and look for inaccuracies and potential improvements

Update basic monthly management accounts

Prepare detailed overhead analysis reports

In liaison with the foreign entities help to prepare weekly CF

In cooperation with the foreign entities implement sound working practices and ensure processes are followed and controls are in place

Ideal Candidate:

AAT qualified

Must have had previous exposure to a full set of accounts

Attention to detail is essential

Principle Responsibilities:

As a member of the customer service team your role is to communicate effectively and efficiently with both customers and sales team to deliver customer excellence, you will handle customer inbound telephone calls, orders and general enquires.

Accurately input sales orders ensuring all orders processed correctly with correct address details, customer account details prices and part numbers

Ensure all orders are released for picking in line with agreed SLA.

Process and resolve any customer debits raising relevant paperwork and arranging RMA/ replacement goods as and when required

Process next day delivery requests within the required time scales

Answer incoming telephone calls

Liaise with customers at all levels

Liaising with the external sales teams to meet customer requirements

Cross selling products across promotional campaigns to existing customer base

All other duties deemed necessary for the business

Warehouse Operator - Lighting Assembly and Repack Operator

Principle Responsibilities:

As a member of the lighting assembly and repack team your role is to follow instructions (SOPs) to assemble and/or repack the products to specification and to the assembly standards.

To be able to work effectively and efficiently as an individual or as part of a team, to ensure all products meet the customer’s expectations and are completed within the specified time.

To use the appropriate equipment and tools (hand & power) in a safe manner to facilitate the assembly requirement and where applicable to carryout product function testing.

To ensure all products are labelled and packed as required, and all information is recorded either manually and/or electronically.

Ideal Candidate:
