As a member of the Customer Service Team, your role is to communicate effectively and efficiently with both customers and the Sales Team to deliver customer excellence. You will handle customer inbound telephone calls, orders and general enquires. This role is a very busy role with each person within the team handling an average of 60 calls per day and placing over 70 orders per day. This job is suited to candidates with experience of working in a fast-paced high-pressured environment.

Head of Treasury and Tax

Principle Responsibilities:

• Head of Treasury and Tax • Responsibility for the treasury function – including cash management monitoring and forecasting both in local and international currencies, including FX management. • Understanding of modelling impacts of changes to business activities and strategy and consequent impacts on the treasury function. • Lead the management of the Groups debt and understanding over time. • Provide the key controls around treasury management. • Manage the group’s tax strategy and planning. • Preparation of corporate tax returns, tax compliance, submit quarterly VAT returns. • Building and strengthening relationships with tax compliance suppliers • Streamlining and improving tax processes • Ensure that high quality financial analysis is provided to the business/Group to assist with better decision making. • To influence colleagues within the business to recognise the value adding service delivered by the finance function, as well as driving continuous improvement and efficiency to processes. • Support senior finance stakeholders with projects which will enhance the overall finance function.

Ideal Candidate:

Head of Controls and Policy Implementation

Principle Responsibilities:

Head of Controls and Policy Implementation • Based in Telford but to be effective at this role, travel to China would be expected to help implement controls and policies. • Lead the controls implementation with referenced to modelled risks and strategy • Maintain the Luceco Finance Manual (LFM) and ensure that Luceco businesses comply with it, and with it, and its requirements are embedded into the business through ongoing awareness and training processes • Take ownership of standard cost allocation process. Identify areas where designated internal controls are lacking, or compliance is poor, and work with management to improve matters • Undertake regular specific control tasks as set out in the LFM (e.g. sample testing of R&D costs posted to balance sheet, review of monthly checklists) • Ensure that Luceco financial results are reported on a ‘no surprises’ basis • Manage and develop an ongoing Internal Controls Questionnaire process and drive the subsequent rectification action process • Perform and review risk management processes to generate corporate risk register that meets corporate governance requirements and is perceived to be of commercial benefit • Undertake ‘deep dive’ investigations into key issues as necessary • Liaise with our external auditors and coordinate the external audit process on a day-to-day basis, looking for opportunities to reduce audit costs • Provide support to the financial reporting team at key times of year (eg half-year and full year end. • Ensure that high quality financial analysis is provided to the business/Group to assist with better decision making. • To influence colleagues within the business to recognise the value adding service delivered by the finance function, as well as driving continuous improvement and efficiency to processes. • Support senior finance stakeholders with projects which will enhance the overall finance function.

Luceco Plc is a leading manufacturer and distributor of Electrical Wiring Accessories, LED Lighting and Home Entertainment Accessories. Luceco are looking for an experienced ERP Systems Analyst to join the existing IT Team, to assist with the increasing number of projects being generated by an expanding business. The primary focus of the role is on the ERP system, associated systems and the development of data analysis and reporting using SQL based tools however, the successful candidate would be required to also work on general IT hardware and software projects and so a broad IT background is essential. The role is based at our Telford office however, you will be working with users based at our global offices and travel to these offices may be required from time to time. Key duties include; providing daily support for the ERP system and working on improvements and enhancements to the system, leading and implementing other IT related projects and assisting the 1st Line Support Team as workload dictates.

Ideal Candidate:

Essential
A minimum of 3 years 2nd/3rd line support of a SQL based ERP system in a manufacturing or distribution company.

To chase debts for all of the allocated accounts via telephone, email and through Area Sales Managers To post all cash receipts to accounts daily To obtain copies of all debits deducted on accounts and liaise with Customer Services Team for a resolution To check all credits raised on accounts and match to debits where possible To send weekly update sheets to the Credit Control Team Leader and to the Credit Control Manager To raise any issues / concerns regarding accounts to the relevant ASMs, Credit Control Team Leader and Credit Control Manager Send monthly statements to customers Fully understand customer accounts and the reasons for any disputes To review customer credit limits with credit checking agencies and report any concerns
