Ideal Candidate:

Experience of field based account management within the DIY and/or Consumer Electrical Channel
Electrical industry experience would be ideal

Assembly Team Leader

Principle Responsibilities:

To manage the Lighting Assembly and Repack section, maintain service levels and achievement of KPI’s for Quality, Cost and Delivery. Monitor the adherence to the production plan and action accordingly. Liaise with internal stakeholders to maintain customer satisfaction. Check the backorder status and take appropriate action to reduce the value. Monitor and report order lead-time completion and make recommendations for recovery. Ensure adherence to quality/working standards and take appropriate action to resolve issues. Monitor the daily/weekly targets and take appropriate action to improve when necessary. Ensure team adherence to H&S regulations. Complete reports as requested e.g. job completion status. Complete administration for whole team e.g. holiday bookings, RTW, timesheets, etc. Complete staff performance appraisals as required. Resolve any personnel issues.

Ideal Candidate:

Production assembly experience e.g. flowline, cell, one piece, and ability to identify efficiency improvements via application of appropriate techniques. Strong man-management and application of HR procedures. Ability to apply root cause analysis and implement appropriate countermeasures. Knowledge and application of established business improvement techniques e.g. 5’s, 7 wastes, kaizen. Good communications skills at all levels in the organisation. Lighting experience advantageous.

Internal Controls Manager

Principle Responsibilities:

This new role aims to work with management to ensure that Luceco’s internal controls are at least sufficient and operate effectively, and subsequently improved an ongoing basis. One of the tasks of the Internal Controls Manager will be to develop the new role to meet expectations. Tasks will include: • Maintain the Luceco Finance Manual (LFM) and ensure that Luceco businesses comply with it, and its requirements are embedded into the business through ongoing awareness and training processes • Take ownership of standard cost allocation process • Identify areas where designated internal controls are lacking, or compliance is poor, and work with management to improve matters • Undertake regular specific control tasks as set out in the LFM (e.g. sample testing of R&D costs posted to balance sheet, review of monthly checklists) • Ensure that Luceco financial results are reported on a ‘no surprises’ basis • Manage and develop an ongoing Internal Controls Questionnaire process and drive the subsequent rectification action process • Perform and review risk management processes to generate corporate risk register that meets corporate governance requirements and is perceived to be of commercial benefit • Undertake ‘deep dive’ investigations into key issues as necessary • Liaise with our external auditors and coordinate the external audit process on a day-to-day basis, looking for opportunities to reduce audit costs • Provide support to the financial reporting team at key times of year (e.g. half-year and full year end)

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is likely to have the following characteristics: • Recently qualified CCAB / CIMA, or part-qualified with clear route to qualification • Experience of manufacturing business • Strength of character to form independent judgements on the quality of internal controls and deliver potentially difficult messages to management • Able to build good long-term relationships both with commercial colleagues and finance team members • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Potential to move into more senior roles within Luceco • Willingness to travel and experience of working overseas • Language skills, ideally Chinese dialects, would be an advantage, but not essential

Reporting to the Stock Control Team Leader, you will be working within the Stock Team and be responsible for maintaining all inventory related activities. To carry out stock counts in accordance with Luceco policy and procedure, to ensure that inventory counts are updated on the stock system and relevant paperwork is filed correctly and any inaccuracies of stock reported to the Stock Control Team Leader. The person should be accurate and have good attention to detail as well have good numerical skills. You will be responsible for the recruitment of new talent whilst managing internal talent and maintaining a balance between the two activities. As a new role within the HR team, you will work with senior stakeholders to understand the current business challenges and context, whilst designing and implementing a range of suitable solutions. This role requires expertise of both recruitment and talent management.
• Understand the business context and challenges so that solutions offered are appropriate
• Design and implement a recruitment framework to be delivered across the business to ensure best practice recruitment and selection and onboarding practices are applied across the business

Ideal Candidate:

• The suitable candidate will have experience as either an established internal recruiter or a recruitment consultant who has been involved in influencing the recruitment strategy within previous organisations
• A proven track record of delivery on hard to fill roles as well as high volume
• Experience of using a variety of media for candidate generation e.g. online / social media
• Experience of working within the lighting and electrical industry would be advantageous as would experience of recruiting non-UK based roles
• It is of particular importance that you can manage your workload, be proactive and enjoy achieving results both personally but also for the benefit of the team and the business
• You possess the ability to be confidential, treating issues with sensitivity and discretion
• You have strong IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, internet and social media platforms)
