Responsible To: Lighting Assembly Team Leader

Location: Stafford Park 1, Telford, Shropshire (temporary home working due to COVID-19)

Hours of Work: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday which may be worked on any pattern as required, between the hours of 08.00 and 17.30, on a rota basis

Salary: Competitive + 10 % annual bonus based upon the achievement of agreed KPIs

Role Responsabilities

To assemble LED and non-LED products as required to the defined specification (e.g. SOP) and/or assembly standards and raise any issues to the responsible person / line manager.
To carry out product testing as instructed, ensuring the correct, and fully functioning, equipment is used.
Complete all jobs within the specified or allotted time.
To work effectively and efficiently, individually or as part of a team.
To ensure all products match (at least) the customers’ expectations, e.g. not damaged, dirty, etc.
To ensure all components used are correct for the product specification.
To use the appropriate equipment (e.g. calibrated) at all times and ensure it’s in a good and safe condition (e.g. PAT tested).
To ensure all labels are affixed correctly and match the product specification.
To pack the product using the appropriate materials, ensuring product protection during storage and/or transportation.
To ensure all data, test results, etc. are recorded in a timely fashion using the appropriate format.
To enter details into the appropriate I.T. system e.g. location, quantity, etc.
To put forward improvement suggestions that could have a positive impact on QCD or H&S.
