What did Luceco do?

Hartlepool’s High Tunstall College of Science is lighting the way for brighter learning with the completion of phase one of a forward-thinking lighting upgrade that sees Luceco deliver a new energy-efficient and high-performance solution.   

As part of improvements to the D Block area of the college, the team at Luceco surveyed the site and recommended a solution that would both maximise energy savings and deliver reliable performance.  

What problem did Luceco solve? 

Showcasing how advanced lighting controls could be tailored to the unique needs of the building – Luceco provided a tailored approach with dimming technology recommended in certain areas, considering the needs of the staff of students using the building. 

What products did Luceco supply? 

A carefully selected and comprehensive range of high-performance LED lighting was recommended featuring: 

The Luxpanel Extra – Luceco’s flagship range of backlit LED solutions, offering increased performance in terms of lumen per watt and balanced light distribution.  

The Climate Extra IP66 linear luminaire with polycarbonate housing, opal diffuser, anti-temper stainless-steel clips, and speedfit installation, along with decorative Atlas and Atlas Extra bulkheads for internal and external lighting. 

Emergency lighting included the Tempus Decorative Blade – a slimline emergency exit blade delivering stylish, clear escape route signage and the Tempus Bulkhead, offering low power consumption and improving safety and
