Orange Contour Vitality!
Luceco has recently supplied LED luminaires to a leading provider of sustainable packaging solutions. Their new innovations centre required luminaries to represent their corporate colour of RAL2011 - Orange. The facilities are central to the design and development of the business, so the perfect home for Luceco’s energy efficient and contemporary Contour luminaire.
Electrical engineers and consultants Goodwin & Price located in the West Midlands, installed linear Contour painted in RAL2011 – orange along with recessed Sigma and LuxFrame luminaires to enhance the lit environment in the conference and communal areas, corridors, and office spaces. A number of the fittings were installed with Platform wireless lighting controls, providing further energy saving benefits.
Platform is a simple wireless lighting control system with zoning, daylight dimming, presence and absence detection. The luminaires and scenes were commissioned by an easy to use free app for iOS devices, allowing the facilitating and importing of drawings and commissioning reports.
Luceco’s Contour and LuxFrame luminaires were selected to meet the interior design aesthetics. LuxFrame is a minimalist LED luminaire designed for ceiling grid applications or suspended as a pendant luminaire, enabling the creation of imaginative and contemporary lighting designs. The Contour lighting system consists of connectable modules that can be surface mounted, suspended or recessed forming contemporary, decorative, and highly effective illumination.
Sigma, a stylish, installer friendly, Direct / Indirect recessed luminaire for low glare applications designed to assist with LG7 compliant settings was also installed. Backlit LED technology and a central Tp(a) microprism optic ensures suitability for office environments offering UGR 19 compliance and less than 3,000 cdm2 at 65°. As well as offering an efficacy of 130 Llm/cW and excellent photometric performance, Sigma, along with Contour, delivers over 100,000 hours of maintenance free, operational life.
